Revolent
A Message From Our Founder & CEO, Kate Visconti
When I was introduced to the team at Revolent and the opportunity to work with them on 2023+ planning, I was absolutely thrilled. After over a decade leading teams in the technology implementation/consulting ecosystem, predominantly with Salesforce, my number one concern had always been talent readiness as the market continues to grow so quickly. As I reflected with the Revolent leaders and more deeply understood their mission and model, my passionate leader and coaching side emerged with a high level of excitement and a vision on how we can help. I shared stories of how important Revolent is, as they are changing lives and helping people find amazing career growth opportunities. If you don’t know about them and what I mean at the deepest level on how they are impacting real people with real outcomes, take a look at this video. We are humbled to be a small part of Revolent’s mission and look forward to working together for years to come.
Tapping Into Customer and Partner Insights to Enable Strategic Growth
Revolent is a world-leading cloud talent creation company that cross-trains experienced tech professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds to address the skills shortage and lack of diversity in the cloud sector. They are an accredited cloud training provider that collaborates with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Cloud, and Salesforce. Investing heavily in the professional development of their trainees (or ‘Revols’), they help them launch their careers in the cloud while working closely with clients to ensure they’re getting the skilled talent they need to help their businesses succeed. Their investment in developing people and changing their lives for the better has helped many Revols deliver valuable contributions to their customers and the technology industry at large.
Revolent employees and the Revols are happy with the company culture and have a strong alignment to the mission, vision, and purpose. Acknowledging some process gaps between teams, Revolent leadership wanted to align and motivate the Sales and Leadership colleagues to create a seamless execution of its Vision, Value, Methods, Obstacles, and Measures (V2MOM) across people, process, brand, and technology modules. One focus was to better equip the Sales teams to customize their approach by customer needs and enhance their capabilities to evolve the overall sales/business model through a deeper understanding of the changing customer, economy, and industry trends.
To support the sales team’s transformation, Five to Flow identified and prioritized the top three opportunities for improvement and recommended practical solutions with action steps to build a cohesive and inspiring organizational strategy, develop deeper customer and alliance relationships, and create clear role definitions aligned to an engaging customer buying journey. Working with Revolent, Five to Flow focused on the critical tasks required to align teams, increase the depth of customer relationships, and define how to deliver in alignment with their V2MOM. Five to Flow also supported their goal of increasing strategic, profitable, and sustainable growth by enabling their sales team to develop the story-telling and trust-building skills they need to effectively align with their customers, their specific/unique needs, and consistently deliver value.
Finding value in the outcomes from our discovery processes, Revolent has been able to take the learnings from customer and partner feedback incorporated into Five to Flow’s recommendations, and work from the incremental action plan to apply to their growth plans for the year and beyond.
“The workshop was insightful for the leadership and sales teams, our suspicions and outstanding questions were validated and we can now take action on these items and the decisions and changes from these actions will flow down to the organization.”
- Carley Donovan, SVP - Global Strategic Accounts
“Five to Flow is very agile and provides an outside perspective; they have expertise along a number of common areas that organizations need to improve on."
- Jon Flaherty, Chief Executive Officer
